Nandha GNU/Linux Users Group is moving ahead in FOSS

Today, In Nandha Engineering college, We(The NGLUG members) spoke with the third year junior members belonging to CSE department and we taught them how to install Linux. We had 130 students at this day and we got them Install Ubuntu by themselves in college machines.

I personally thank Coimbatore Anna University to have a Lab for Open Source and I believe We will sure change the future of Nandha Engineering college to Free and Open Source Softwares and Thanks to the staffs too to take effort in making students interested by boosting them up by feeding them about the world of reality.

I also thank FSFTN for making a huge step of organizing a FOSS meet at August which led me a way to impress the students. I believe FSFTN will rock more in the future as well. πŸ™‚

I am really stunned by the students because I was nearly asked about hundred questions. I like people to have a spirit to learn new and We(NGLUG and FOSS) are always available to teach them anytime and we will be sure that they just dont work in FOSS, but they do learn and work πŸ™‚

The next step we are up to is to find all alternates for Proprietary softwares and make students learn and manage their machine by their own both at college and at home.(We will still be on the back of you when you need). πŸ™‚

If we never give a try, then how can we select the best?? πŸ˜‰
